THE WAY TO SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE AND ENERGETIC EFFICINCY This year fair manifestation and conference Green building 2012 in Verona promoted sustainable architecture and energetic efficiency in construction, energetic efficiency in construction of machines, sustainable water cycle in buildings; possibilities of greening in constructed surrounding; projecting, revision and consulting, certificates. GreenBuilding and Solarexpo together at exhibit space from more than 100,000 square meters, gathered more than 1,000 exhibitors. About 75,000 visitors with great interest were visiting the fair exhibits of companies and associations from 30 European and out of Europe countries. About 60 events took place – conference and seminars that gathered more than 6,000 participants and 350 home and foreign speakers. According to the words of PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, construction sector is one of the most dynamic in Nis, especially in the Municipality of Palilula. It employs the greatest number of people. From total energy spending in many countries of the Region in percents more energy is spent in this sector says Novakovic. It estimates from 32 to 40 percent and in Serbia it is even 60 percent. That is why it is of significant importance to realize the saving and improve the energetic efficiency in construction. The examples of good practice , business contacts like fair in Verona are of extreme importance for strategic planners, owners of small and medium enterprises in this sector. In the cooperation with partner organizations on the project (Construction klaster Opeka brik, City of Nis – Administration for planning and construction and EKOPOLIS – Media ecological net of Serbia) Palilula Municipality prepared other activities that have for its goal introducing with the examples of good practice in projecting of energetic efficient buildings in the world and better informing of public about the significance of energy saving emphasizes Ljubisa Jakovljevic, manager of the project. LEDIB programme of the Kingdom of Denmark in accordance with bilateral agreement of Denmark and Serbian government, as well with the Strategy for reducing poverty of Serbia, it is directed to the support of local economic development of the Balkans. Also this project that is approved to Palilula is the example of the support to local self governments that have the clear vision and development strategy.
